This is the first RV "made in Portugal".
This AirPlane is an "Experimental"! It is a RV-6, two sits side by side, tail wheel, with a 180hp "Lycoming" engine and a "Hartzell" c/s propeller.
(100 hours inspection concluded)
Looking to the AirSpeed we can see the VNE at 210Mph, and stall at 50Mph.
It is a fast aircraft, good cross country, whith the ability to land in a short field runway.
These characteristics and because it is aerobatic too, was the main reasons for the option RV "Van's" Experimental Aircraft.
The construction took three and half years...
...but it's a great airplane!
First "vacation" of CS-XAO was in Algarve, in the city of Lagos. We can see the town from other angle...
